“ Love that these little ramen shops exists in a big city like Tokyo. Quick service, limited menu but all delicious- we tried all 3 selections (spicy, regular and carbonara) and all great! Small business and while vending machine was all in Japanese, the shop owner helped us translate. ”
“ Yummy late night meal. Shop is run by a couple of very friendly young men who know how to cook nice noodles and broth. A fairly diverse menu. Noodles were bouncy and chewy. ”

“ Tourists come around to the quiet side of Ueno Park to experience delicious Abura Soba noodles at an authentic eatery. Don't be put off by the lack of English. Go on in and use the ordering machine with the help of Google translate or be assisted by one of the friendly staff. I ordered the recommended meal for ¥900. I was offered the choice of medium or large portion at no extra cost. This was a redundant question, as it was always going to be large! Service was fast, portion size was huge. Instructions on the wall explain how to use the vinegar, chili oil, raw garlic paste and sesame seeds to mix through your noodles along with the soft boiled egg. When you get the flavour ratio just right after a little perfecting, you will die and go to noodly heaven!!! Counter style seating for 10 people only. Strong recommend! One of my favourite meals in 15 days. Was quiet at 12.30pm on a Wednesday. Worth the short detour from a day at the museums or zoo. ”
“ Delicious. Ordered the spicy, basic and the basic set. Get the large size at no extra cost. Order when you walk in and the young men working here are busy but will help when they can.
